Why a bespoke site over Shopify/Squarespace etc?
There are some fantastic website builders out there, which can offer a simple ‘out of the box’ solution for your needs, but these will always be limited within the confines of the designs they allow. Additional customisations often require you to pay for the ‘add-ons’ and to make a site truly your own, the time and costs involved will soon add up.
We can offer a truly bespoke service, working with the vision you have in your mind for how you want your business to be portrayed online. This can be a simple or as complex as you would like. Whether it is just a simple and concise site with a gorgeous colour palette that matches your brand, or a full blown immersive online shopping experience, with every bit of the page tailored to you and your brand – we can help.
A bespoke option will also reduce the fees you pay too – shopify/squarespace etc charge a percentage + flat fee for ever transaction. We use woocommerce & a choice of payment handling services with much more reasonable fees.
We take the stress out of the design process and can guarantee a helpful and friendly service. We are used to working with creative businesses, and know how to decipher the idea in your mind and make it happen.
Pricing / How much will my website cost?
As a guide – a simple blog based website would start at £750. A small e-commerce site would start around £1,500 and a full blown e-commerce/blog/multi featured site would be upwards of £2,000 depending on your requirements. We will always give a broken down quote ahead of commencing any work for you, so you get a clear indication of how much it will cost.
We have a range of different payment options, from either a full payment up front to a deposit and a monthly payment plan. We can work with you to make sure you can get the most for your money.

How long will it take?
As an idea, a small site containing a few pages that are advertising your small business, but not selling any products through the site directly, you may be looking at 2-4 weeks.
A medium sized website, selling your products directly to your customers from the site and containing some more detail such as blogs and mailing lists, and requiring some help creating content – it may take somewhere between 3-8 weeks, dependant on your requirements.
A large and complex site featuring many different products and advanced features will take a good while longer to produce, you may be looking at between 2-4 months.
What will I need to provide?
In an ideal world, you will be able to provide all the text content for your site. Providing original photography will also be helpful to produce a personalised website that suits your business. We can help with providing stock imagery if required.
We can also offer a service taking all the photography for your website and helping with logo design and brand identity if needed.
Website Maintenance?
We provide a service regularly maintaining your website to ensure it operates smoothly and is securly protected against unwanted problems such as hackers. This service is included in your hosting package.
Who will update the website?
We build your websites on the wordpress platform, which has award winning, easy to use CMS (content management system). This should allow you to be able to update your website effectivly yourself, if you feel comfortable.
If you would rather us update your website on your behalf, we will provide you with an estimate for the cost. As an example, updating a page with additional text and new images that require editing in photoshop, it would be around £25.
Domains & Hosting
We can help by providing you with a domain name that suits your business, if you haven’t already got one.
If you already own the domain you would like to use, we can transfer this to your new website. We would require the details of the registration to be able to help with this.
We can also provide super fast and secure web hosting for your site. We offer a safe and secure server, along with everything you will need for an ecommerce platform such as SSL Certificates, analytics, daily backups and more.
The cost of this service will depend on your requirements, but as an example, for a small e-commerce site, you should budget £20 per month.
What are the payment terms?
We offer flexible payment terms and would never charge you in full until your new website is live and you are happy with it. Whether you want to pay for your site upfront, or if you would rather pay a deposit and then set up a payment plan for your site, we will always work with you to make sure your website is affordable for your business.
